Mysuru-born actress Priyanka Kumar, who started her career in television, has no intentions of returning to the small screen. Her focus has always been on transitioning to films, a goal she has successfully achieved. Priyanka recently landed a significant role in the upcoming movie Doora Teera Yaana, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Manso Re. Being a newcomer with limited opportunities, she is selective about the roles she pursues, prioritizing quality over quantity. She emphasizes the importance of gaining recognition and success to launch her career and enable her to pursue her desired roles. Priyanka will also be appearing in Rudra Garunda Purana, where she will portray a flautist. She has been diligently learning to play the flute for authenticity, under the guidance of musician Balu from Mysuru. Although mastering the instrument presents challenges, she is committed to delivering a convincing performance with practice and determination.
